The TPDS Main Assisted Reserve Deployment System was initially designed and tested to be used in the sport parachuting industry. Furthermore, after the testing with the entire spectrum of malfunction, it became a unanimous decision to be a standard option on the entire range of TPDS Harness Container systems. The MARD saves lives and missions in HALO operations. MARD will also be referred to as “Reserve Boost” in some instances.
